“I am thrilled to share my incredible experience as a participant in the FINA Award Program, held from September 22-27, 2024. The program was impeccably organized, blending academic, cultural, and professional enrichment into a transformative journey. Led by a highly professional team, including key coordinators and facilitators who remained approachable and proactive throughout the program, the experience was seamless.

We, as participants, had the opportunity to get connected with distinguished experts, researchers, and leaders in various fields, providing valuable opportunities for knowledge exchange. I was able to establish numerous professional contacts and identify potential grants and future collaborative opportunities. The guidance throughout the program was really personalized.

The week featured inspiring engagements across multiple locations. At Sciences Po Rennes in Caen, the organizers facilitated a campus presentation and enriching discussions with local researchers on sustainable development and territorial transitions. We met experts specializing in ecological challenges and regional innovation, deepening our understanding of critical global issues.

Our visit to the University of Caen Normandy allowed to highlight cutting-edge research. Eclusive access to the Virtual Reality Center (CIREVE) was arranged, where we explored the university’s groundbreaking advancements in mobility, biomechanics, and cognitive studies.

The sessions at the CHU de Caen Normandie and the François Baclesse Center were equally well-coordinated, offering valuable insight into healthcare innovation and oncology research. The organizers ensured we had opportunities to engage with leading medical researchers and clinicians, making these visits both informative and inspiring.

Returning to Paris, insightful meetings were organized at the Regional Health Agency (ARS) Île-de-France and ParisSanté Campus. These sessions were meticulously planned to showcase pioneering health policies and digital innovations, further cementing France’s leadership in medical advancements.

The visit to the Institut Pasteur—a highlight of the program—allowed participants to witness one of the world’s most prestigious biomedical research institutions in action.

In summary, the FINA Award Program was an extraordinary experience. Thanks to this program, participants gained access to world-class institutions, pioneering research, and groundbreaking innovations. I built meaningful professional relationships and uncovered exciting opportunities for grants and future collaborations. I leave this program feeling inspired, connected to global innovation networks, and equipped with fresh ideas to advance my professional journey.”
